Brooklyn Brewery is sponsoring a series of cookoffs across the country featuring a fantastic secret ingredient: smoke. And where better for contestants to rule the roost than Texas where smoke is part of our culinary heritage. Who knows what kind of dishes contestants will apply smoke to. Meat certainly but also vegetables and maybe even sweets? Everyone in attendance will get to sample the contestants’ goods and have an opportunity to choose which “cheftestant” will gain the ultimate culinary bragging rights. Brooklyn Brewery will also have samples on hand so you can taste their wares while you watch the contestants show their stuff.
