Texas Crawfish & Music Festival

Take a jaunt out to Spring, Texas in the heart of the, well, Spring for The Texas Crawfish and Music Festival. One of Houston’s largest and longest running festivals, the festival is family friendly and promises to have something for all ages. Along with music and steaming pots of delicious Southern Louisiana crawfish, expect all the fun and festivities of a carnival, complete with rides, games, local arts and crafts, food and drinks, a petting zoo, and more. The current music lineup features Texas favorites like Robert Earl Keen, Jack Ingram, Dale Watson, and Vallejo.

Make Me a Cake Fundraiser

Decorate a cake, enjoy some lunch, and support one of Austin’s great music and arts education program. Head out to Mandola’s Market in Bee Cave for a cake decorating class from expert pastry chefs at Mandola’s, meet Damian Mandola, and even enter your decorated cake in the “Make Me a Cake” contest to see if it will take home the grand prize. This is a great way to spend an afternoon as a family – kids 7+ are welcome to decorate their own cakes.

Open Up and Say Craw Crawfish Boil

Spend your Sunday evenigns at Lustre Pearl enjoying crawfish, live music, and cold beer. Admission is free and $15 gets you 3 lbs. of crawfish along with potatoes, sausage, and corn. If you leave hungry it will be your own fault.
